Fauzia Abdalla is a multilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who received her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Communication Disorders from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.  She is a certified member of the Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). 

Fauzia is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Disorders Sciences (CDS) at Kuwait University, Kuwait. She served as acting Department Chair for CDS and contributed to the development and revision of the department’s curriculum and professional practice guidelines. Besides teaching, she supervises, guides and mentors SLP students. 

Fauzia has published and presented research on stuttering, developmental language disorders, clinical education and psychosocial aspects of communication disorders.  

She was former Associate Editor for the Speech, Language and Hearing Journal
